Spring is coming!

Elliot has been very happy that temperatures have warmed up recently, as he really likes it outdoors. Here we were hanging out in the front yard, playing with Little People.



Elliot has also started to express some likes and dislikes in the food department. It used to be that he would eat whatever we put in his spoon, but now he turns his head away from veggies and most protein. Cereal, applesauce, cheerios. Those are the things he loves. Fruit in general I guess. Below is a picture of us giving him some cut up banana with cheerio dust to make it easier to grab. Also made it easier to stick to his face!

In other news, we had a very busy, productive weekend. Friday we had a tree service come out and remove two dead maples and some bushes. That was nice to get done. We also: put coats of paint on the front door; replaced the kitchen faucet; replaced the kitchen light fixture; added padding to the sofa; attached the seat cushions to two dining chairs; and installed the baby gate at the top of the stairs. With all that, we found time to visit the park, do some shopping, and Jill and I saw I Love You, Man, while the grandparents watched the boy. Good weekend, definitely.
